time Intensive Therapy
More time, so that you can go deeper
standard 45 min. sessions simply are not enough time…
It takes time to break-into a therapy session. Sometimes, it can even take upwards of 40 minutes to get to the juicy stuff. That’s almost the entire session!
I’ve been here before in my personal therapy sessions: 41 minutes into a 45 minute session… and bing! a lightbulb moment. I want to share more, I want to process it, I don’t want it to be lost for an entire week until I see my therapist again… ugh!!
The stop and start of a 45 minute session can feel clunky and insufficient. I’ve felt the frustration from both sides of this experience.
I found a solution: therapy intensive.
Therapy intensives
Think of this like flying first class. You get more comfort, priority in line, and the most attentive flight attendant. With intensives, you skip the waitlist, get extended time, more concentrated focus, and priority booking.
Who is this designed for?
Therapy intensives are for the deeply introspective person, someone who likes to go deeper with more time & space to process.
Someone who is processing & integrating a psychedelic experience. Intensive sessions are also wonderful for integration sessions following a ketamine sessions. Ketamine can bring us into very deep parts of ourselves, and sometimes requires coupling of deeper integration.
The seeker: someone who has a desire for more interweaving of shamanic elements in our sessions. With more time on our hands, we can go into vision quests, guided imagery, journeying, etc. and have time to process what you experienced.
Time intensive therapy is for someone who is on a bit of a time crunch and wants to feel prepared for an upcoming event faster than what the standard 45 minute session can offer. For example; you may have a family event coming up where you know you will be triggered.
What can you expect from intensive therapy?
Therapy intensives are extended psychotherapy sessions. The standard psychotherapy session is usually 45 minutes. When we have big things happening in our lives, 45 minutes 1x a week may simply feel like enough time. Thus, meeting for extended periods of time can help you to move through stuck points and deeply contemplative concepts at a quicker rate. With intensives, we can explore and process more deeply in one session rather than chopping it up.
Why a intensive therapy?
It’s like if we were fishing in your mind; therapy intensives are like casting a larger net, deeper in the waters of your emotions… thus, catching more “fish”! It might surprise you what’s deep in the ocean of your mind.
This really depends on what you are seeking from your therapeutic experience. If you would rather take things slow, then standard weekly sessions are probably the best bet for you. If you are looking for depth, at a quicker rate, then intensives are a good option for you.
How are intensives set up?
Intensives can easily be integrated into your regular weekly psychotherapy, if you are looking for depth at a steady pace. For example, we could meet 3x a month for standard sessions, then meet 1x for an intensive. This way, you will have a deep dive followed up maintenance and integration from that deep-dive session.
There is an option to purchase a therapy intensive package, as well.

Could therapy intensive packages save me money?
Sure could! The price is higher upfront, however, the investment in weekly therapy could end up costing you more over time.
